But generally speaking, Researches and Practice of knowledge management system are still in the Preliminary stage and have some Problems. For example, both knowledge management system researchers and Practices have ignored the social factors in the Process of knowledge management system building, such as organization structure, enterprise culture and incentive mechanism, but more stress on information technologies. Systematical theories and methods are absent in constructing, analyzing and designing of enterprise knowledge management system. For above reasons, this thesis embeds ideas of systems engineering into knowledge management system and defines knowledge management and knowledge management system after researching many relevant theoretical literatures. Then analyzes the process of knowledge management and makes out the difference and relationship between knowledge management system and the conventional Management Information System.
