总结:The move from conventional to fast container shipping requires shift in many aspects of its management. Studying and developing risk factors for the supply chain management will better understand critical factors that would have direct influence to the successful implementation of the idea of fast container shipping. This research establishes the relationship between elements in its Supply Chain Management process to risk. Four elements studied are packaging, documentation, inland transporting and shore-to-ship transfer. Questionnaires are released and data gathered are analysed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) and MINITAB. The results shows that all the four elements studied are risky. Inland transportation is the most risky process (Pearson r2 value 0.437 and p-value 0.104) in Supply Chain Management of fast container shipping. This is followed by packaging (Pearson r2 value 0.409 and p-value 0.073), shore-to-ship transfer (Pearson r2 value 0.407 and p-value 0.075) and lastly documentation (Pearson r2 value 0.328 and p-value 0.158). The study successfully established the relationship diagram between risk and the four elements studied.
