The purpose of this study was to evaluate the suitability of the location of the restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in Johor Bahru City Council. Thus this study was conducted using ArcGIS 9.3 software to analyze the factors that influence the choice of restaurant locations and measure the suitability of the location of a restaurant based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The study starts with identifying the factors that influence the location of the restaurant through qualitative methods. The information is then analyzed using GIS to obtain appropriate measurements that affect the restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in the area MBJB. At the end of the study, measuring the suitability of the location of KFC restaurants in selected areas in MBJB can be identified and acceptable. The study discovered that the most highest accessibility is KFC Plaza Larkin Restaurant.On the other hand, KFC Taman Damansara Aliff has a good potential of customer to arrive to the KFC Restaurant.
