Facilities Audit is an essential tool in FM used in measuring the effectiveness and performance of the assets or services delivered by an organization. Therefore, a proper Facilities Audit need to be undertaken in an organization to ensure their aims, goals and the customer’s expectation are met. This research was conducted to identify the readiness level in each Facilities Audit process for Local Authority and to determine the readiness level for the whole Facilities Audit process for Local Authority. The study was carried out within five local authorities around Johor Bahru area including MBJB, MPJBT, MPKu, MDP and MPPG. Data collection is gathered by distributing questionnaires to all five Local authorities. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to perform frequency and descriptive analysis to present the parameters identified to conduct Facilities Audit while rating method us used to identify the weighted rating for each Local Authority. The main purpose of this research is to recognize which Local Authority is well equipped and prepared to apply Facilities Audit in their organization. Results of the findings are analyzed using mean score and also weighted rating. The research discovered that the readiness of Facilities Audit differs from one to another Local Authority because of the strength of information they have varies for each phase in Facilities Audit process. The significant parameters being identify.
