Summary:The purpose of the research is to concentrate on identifying the level of knowledge, habitual practice and expertise especially in secondary school towards problem solving. Seventy Mathematic teachers have been chosen from seven schools in Batu Pahat area to participate in the survey. The survey is using a questionnaire as the instrument of research. Survey forms are used as a research. Free sample has been applied based on The Purpose of Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument for reliability value is a = 0.920. Statistical Package for Science Social (SPSS) Version 17.0 is used to analyze the data. The frequency and percentage is used to analyze the respondent’s background while the mean from descriptive statistics is used to identify the level of knowledge, habitual practice and expertise of Mathematic teachers. In addition, t-Test is used as inferency statistics as a guidance to analyze the hypothesis research. Based on the feedback and result shown, there is no significant difference between knowledge, habitual practice and expertise for Mathematic teachers in secondary schools for problem solving through teaching experiences and the rate is considered as medium high. However few suggestions have been proposed for future conducts and references. The confidence, thus built, may lead to a higher percentage of teacher’s performance in the longer term.
