Summary:To what extent the teachers graduate from Faculty of Education Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) had full fill the employers needs? This is the issue to be investigated and looked into throughout this study. The descriptive survey was to identify the employers’ perception toward the graduates of Faculty of Education UTM. The educational orientation employers in three states in the south of Malaysia were the respondents involved in the study. A set of questionnaire designed from the previous study was used in this study. Four main or key aspects of the study were the level of knowledge, skills, attitude and professional development and the acquisition of generic skills. There were 185 complete sets of questionnaire returned within an appropriate time. The data obtained have been analysed by using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and the findings were exhibit in the form of percentage, frequency and mean. The T-test reliable value of alpha ( a ) = 0.05 were used to observe the employers’ perception while the correlation significant value of 0.01 were used to observe the relationship strengthness of the employers’ perception. The overall findings showed that the employers’ perception toward graduates from Faculty of Education UTM level of knowledge, skills, attitude and the acquisition of generic skills were at moderate level. The findings showed that the Faculty of Education UTM have to revise the curriculum, delivery method and the evaluation of every academic program to ensure the graduates produced will be equipped with the highest level of knowledge, skills, attitude and the acquisition of generic skills in order to full fill the employers’ requirements.
