The purpose of this study is to find out what they know about the In-Service Training Programme based on the requirements of the Quality Education System of Malaysia (SQEM). It is also used as an instrument to measure the level of satisfaction among teachers who have attended the In-Service Training Programme carried out by their respective schools on the aspect of management, how the programme is carried out, and the benefits of the programme. Data for this study has been analyzed using the SPSS (Statistic Package including For Social Science) version 11.5. The pilot study results showed high reliability with a value of 0.7841. The actual findings had shown that the level of knowledge of the teachers about the programme is high but level of satisfaction is at a moderate level. This study shows that the correlations between the two aspects are strong. Meanwhile, it appears that independent variables such as gender and field of teaching do not affect the knowledge and satisfaction level of teachers who have attended the In-Service Training organized by schools. However, other variables such as the teachers’ race and teaching experiences may have some effects on the overall result. Finally, several suggestions are made for further studies to improve the teachers’ job satisfaction.
