Summary:The main purpose of this study conducted is to identify the level of involvement and most dominan activities in informal learning activities and determine the significant between informal learning activities and job satisfaction and also to identify the differences of informal learning activities based on demographics factor. This study involved about 148 of front line Customs officers from Passengers Unit at south entry point of Royal Malaysian Customs, Johor Bahru at CIQ Bangunan Sultan Iskandar and CIQ Sultan Abu Bakar Complex, Tanjung Kupang, as respondents. The data for this study was collected by using questionnaires built by Lohman (2006) for informal learning activities and Job Descriptive Index (JDI) by Smith, Kendall & Hulin (1969) for job satisfaction. The data have been analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software, version 17.0 and the quantitative methodology was introduced in this study. The results have been presented by using percentages, frequency and mean. The findings of this study showed that the worker`s involment in informal learning activities at workplace were at moderate level and the most dominan informal learning activities was talking activities. Result fot the differences of informal learning activities based on demographics factor showed that there were no differences of informal learning activities based on demographics factor. The correlation between informal learning activities and job satisfaction was at moderate level of correlation ( r=0.570, p< 0.0.05) . Therefore, the total mean indicated the level of moderate too for the informal learning activities and job satisfaction. In overall, this research will become more important part for all the parties in order to enhance the effectiveness of performance through the informal learning activities and indirectly enchance job satisfaction to conduct the organization excellent.
