This research is a mixed methods which is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The population involved in this study was a total of 198 which is the Sixth Form teachers from 18 secondary schools in Muar with Sixth Form students. The sample for quantitative research mode was selected randomly involving a sample of 118 respondents, while four respondents were selected non randomly for qualitative research mode. The instrument used was a set of questionnaires for quantitative modes and one set of interviews for qualitative research mode. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analysed using descriptive statistics and a measure of the percentage frequency and min were analysed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 20.0. Data recorded from the interviews were manually transcribed before analysis. On average, the mean of the three research questions derived from the results of the questionnaire is high. For the aspects of teachers’ readiness, high mean indicates that the readiness of the sixth form teachers was high. For the aspects of teaching, the high mean shows that teachers agreed with the things that can be done by the management to increase teachers’ readiness and the barriers that interfere with the implementation of the well teaching of Sixth Form.
