Then, design and simulated the PID controller using Ziegler-Nichols method as a benchmarking controller. The position of the DC motor can be controlled using a PI, PD and PID. To reduce overshoot by tuning the parameter of PI, PD and PID using the Ziegler-Nichols Tuned method. The state feedback controller has been design using a pole placement via Lyapunov method. For validation of the design, simulation work using MATLAB/SIMULINK software is used.
