Summary:This study is one of the efforts to observe the novice teachers’ attitude towards Staff Development Programme. There are 150 novice teachers from both secondary and primary schools consist of male and female teachers as the sample for this study. Survey has been used as the instrument with the 0.988 Cronbach alpha value and divided into Section A, section B, section C and section D. Section A consists of sample’s background consist of gender, teaching experience, service scheme, highest academic qualification and frequency programme attended. Section B tells about the attitude of novice teachers towards the need of staff development programme while section C tells about the attitude of novice teachers towards the importance of staff development programme. Last but not least, section D consists of the acceptance of novice teachers towards this programme. The result of the research shows their attitude towards staff development programme in school. The feedbacks given by them had been analysed using SSPS software (Statistic Package For The Sosial Science) for windows version 16.0. The analysis min and test-t were used for the sake of analysing data and related to independent variables. The research shows that novice teachers give good acceptance towards staff development programme and it is proven that they agree that staff development programme is important in order to lead to successfulness in their career.
