Summary: | The research conducted is to study which dimension within the Level Five leadership that is often used by the Executive Leader of Sekolah Islam Hidayah Johor Bahru and how he practices it. The dimension that will be viewed are organization management, discipline management, personal humility and professional will. Two methods of data collection are employed in this study, namely survey method and qualitative study. The survey method involved 30 respondents, which are the staffs of the school, and the qualitative study by interview include four respondents which are the principal, the head master and two support staffs. The data collected will be analyzed manually involving coding and interpretations or data analysis. The quantitative method is analyzed using the SPSS version 17.0 with quantitative approaches which are frequency, mean, percentage and standard deviation. The research shows the highest mean in from the personal humility dimension (mean 4.04) followed by organization management (mean 4.01), professional will (3.97) and discipline management (mean 3.89). This result showed that the personal humility is the most frequently used dimension of the Executive Leader and is accepted by the organist. The quantitative study data through the interview is found strongly supportive to the quantitative data. Furthermore, thru interviews and observations made, their “tarbiah” within the “usrah” program executed could be considered the strengths and specialties of Sekolah Islam Hidayah in creating an “addeen” environment, especially the leadership practices used by the Executive Leader of Sekolah Islam Hidayah Johor Bahru. Finally, a more comprehensive study was proposed to substantiate the existing findings. |
