Summary:Youth tourists in Malaysia remains as a key component in tourists market where youths play an important role in the community at a particular country. Most youths prefer spending more time in planning their vacation trip rather than planning their lives. A unique journey offer an opportunity to adapt to something new, continue common bond among family members and friends through leisure activities, generally, increasing life happiness and satisfaction. The aim of this study is to discuss on the traveling patterns among youths around Johor Bahru regarding vacation activities. This study will reveal youth's traveling patterns in the perspectives of their behaviour toward past traveling experiences. Involvement in vacation activities and evaluation that need to be done towards "pull and push factors:and attraction to observe significant impact which can influence their vacaton trips. Process of analysing data is using the technique of frequency percentage, score mean and standard deviation. 'Compare means' and 'Cross-tabulation' to get difference in mean proposional for respondent on the basis of age, sex and education level with their vacation activities. 'Independent T-Test' is also used to obtain significant differences based on age and sex. Findings reveal that the travel patterns of youths is more inclines towards urban tourism whereby vacation revolves around the city are and involves activities such as shopping. The factors that provide an impact which influences ths traveling pattern is age and sex. It is hoped that the findings of this study can assist the local tourism manufacturer organisation in developing tourism packages for youths in Malaysia.
