It is a tool for the management of safety, health and environmental protection. In recent years, it has been accepted by marine offshore industry. One of the risk has be identified is collision of vessel to structures. The risk of collision of vessel to structures is now estimated to be the single largest source in oil and gas company. The impact of this risk basically refers to asset. The risk to assets is usually referred to, as material damage and production loss/delay. The risk assessment provides a qualitative or quantitative measure of risk. The study focusing on methodology of conducting risk assessment from the aspect of outboard conductor collision with vessel. This presents a very real problem as the risk of collision in many cases is now non-negligible and in the ALARP region where the operator is under a statutory obligation to ensure the risk is As Low As Reasonably Practicable and resulted of the best practices to evaluate risk of vessel-platform collisions (Yong, 2003). Thus, results from risk assessment would need to be translated into mitigation actions as part of risk management, control risk through cost-effective design and procedure improvements with ultimate objective to safely operate hydrocarbon productions without compromising safety and adverse impact to people, assets and environment 2014 Thesis http://eprints.utm.my/id/eprint/41931/ http://dms.library.utm.my:8080/vital/access/manager/Repository/vital:78917?queryType=vitalDismax&query=Outboard+conductor+vessel+collision+study&public=true masters Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Faculty of Civil Engineering Faculty of Civil Engineering
