Summary:This study was conducted to examine the relationship between teachers' motivation and academic achievement of students in 4 schools in the district of Kota Tinggi, Johor. Quantitative study aimed to identify whether there is a relationship between the two variables. A total of 60 students from four schools in the district of Diabetes, High consisting of two urban schools and two from rural schools selected. Survey method is done using a questionnaire and a five-point Likert scale data was analyzed using SPSS version 16.0. The results showed the teacher is at a high level (M = 69.7). In the area of academic achievement, it is found that generally at a high level (M = 60.2). The administration also recommended in order to maintain the level of teacher motivation at a high level to improve the academic performance of students in the same time. Recommended further studies to look at the correlation between the teacher and students' achievement according to the constructs in each variable.
