Quantitative study aimed to identify whether there is a relationship between the two variables. A total of 60 students from four schools in the district of Diabetes, High consisting of two urban schools and two from rural schools selected. Survey method is done using a questionnaire and a five-point Likert scale data was analyzed using SPSS version 16.0. The results showed the teacher is at a high level (M = 69.7). In the area of academic achievement, it is found that generally at a high level (M = 60.2). The administration also recommended in order to maintain the level of teacher motivation at a high level to improve the academic performance of students in the same time.
