Summary:Urbanisation is a process of continuous development that would go beyond a certain area. Urbanization occurs will shape the development of the area in more detail and involves a more intensive use of land for the purpose of development designed to meet the current requirements. Unplanned development that exists in urban areas is the development of a vulnerability being realized by the citizens of the town, even at early stages of development is planned outside the Local Authority area. Weaknesses in the system of land administration and development control forming cluster development are difficult to change and ultimately affect the continuity of development and will eventually make more complicated. The study conducted is to understand and unlock the problem of unplanned development in urban areas that are experiencing rapid development. Review of existing settlements is done in order to understand the real situation that will lead to improvement measures that are appropriate and viable exercise. Responsibility of local authorities should be clarified to ensure the appropriate role can be done to drive the development of more economical, organized, safe and viable. In connection with the wisdom and efficiency of implementing agencies needs to be improved and streamlined in order to curb unplanned development with a variety of corrective and preventive actions in the long term
