Summary:This study was conducted to explore and learn the transformation process among pengkid adult Muslims in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. The objective of this study is to understand the transformation perspective that taken place among them and identify the impact towards them. This study involved six respondents of women aged between 25 to 35 years old and all of them are Muslim. The study conducted through qualitative method, using semi-structured interviews in order to explore and understand in detail about the life experiences of the respondents and the changes that they gone through. The purposive sampling technique used in the selection of the sample. The findings were analyzed manually using open coding and axial coding. The findings revealed that all respondents had repeated of integrated trigger event and staggered. The study also identify that social relationships, life experiences, the influence from west countries culture and weak religious beliefs are among the factors that make the respondents change their life perspective. When the perspective transformation occurs, the respondents were also impacted due to the result of the changes. In this study, the effect experienced by the respondents is divided into four, the effect on the behaviour of respondents, emotional, career and also spiritual. The results of this study have implications towards the „pengkid‟ and for those communities where by understanding the cause of the change, the factors driving those „pengkid‟ behavior and the effect of the changes can create awareness to the public about the „pengkid‟. Proposals for future studies are included in this research.
