| الملخص: | The provision of women parking space had been implemented in Germany, China, South Korea, Indonesia and also in Malaysia. These are due to the efforts and awareness of responsible parties for providing a safe and comfortable environment for women. Therefore, a case study has been carried out in the parking lots at Tesco Extra Mutiara Rini, Skudai, as to identify what are the tendency and what are the community perspective on that facilities. The evaluation of this study were collected through interviews with management of Tesco Extra Mutiara Rini and based on public opinion through the distribution of questionnaires. This study found that the provision of ladies parking at the hypermarkets was a realization from the head quarter of Tesco (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd and for the new branch of Tesco has to follow the instructions. In addition, this study also found that public agreed to the provision of ladies parking facilities but the provision is must based on the provided guidelines as for successful implementation toward the aiming for providing a good facilities especially for women safety. |
