Summary:Disciplinary problems among students in secondary school has been a serious issue in our country lately. The cause of this disciplinary issue was due to the failure of parental care, teachers awareness in terms of teaching style, peers and social media influences. Thus, the aim of this research is to identify the level of correlation factor of social learning that involved parents, teachers, peers, neighbours and artistes; to identify the practice level of personal ethics, social and religious of students; to identify the differences of correlation factors in the social learning and to identify the differences of ethics practicing based on demographics background and to identify the correlation factors of the social learning and the practice of ethics in students’ daily life. This research employed correlation quantitative research design which involved 269 respondents which was chosen based on purposive sampling from secondary schools in the District of Johor Bahru. The questionnaires of Ethics Inventory of Secondary School Students were adopted from Azhar Ahmad (2006), which showed Cronbach Alpha 0,7. The data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences Version 20.0 (SPSS version 20.0). Analytical discription showed that the factor of parents was at the highest mean of 4.32, followed by teachers, peer, neighbours and the lowest mean from artistes factor. The result showed that the ethics practice in terms of religion was moderate with the mean score of 3.63, then followed by social ethics which was moderate with the mean score of 3.54 and lastly the personal ethics was also moderate with the mean score of to 2.73. Based on the correlation analysis, it showed strong significant relation between social learning and the ethics practice, which was (r = 0.476) compared to significant level α = 0.05. The parents should emphasis on effective parenting style in order to discipline their child through the ethics practice. In other words, parents, field of education and teachers, must play an important role among each other to tackle and solve the disciplinary problems in schools.
