Nevertheless, the target outcome has not been achieved. The low Malay Arabic writing ability is a challenge for Malay Arabic teachers to upgrade education quality. Therefore, this study has been conducted to identify the effectiveness of Quantum Learning approach in learning Malay Arabic Writing subject. The study also observes the level of early reading and indentified factors which allow students to read using methods used by teachers. The research method used was concurrent triangulation strategy which is a mixed-methods of qualitative and quantitative approaches, involving different sample of students and teachers. The research instruments consist of reading test of Malay Arabic texts, questionnaires, pre and post-tests, interview questions, and observation form. The quantitative data were analyzed using mean, percentage, frequency, standard deviation, and t-test schedule, whereas the qualitative data were analyzed by using thematic analysis. The early findings show that the students’ weakness in reading Malay Arabic writing words toward Rumi, due to the weakness in changing Malay Arabic writing to Rumi. This is because of the conventional learning rules and text books. Through the use of the Quantum Learning approach, it was found that the treatment group achieved significant enhancement in the mean marks compared to the treatment group, while the interview result showed positive feedback from teachers. The students’ activity in reading the Malay Arabic writing by using the Quantum Learning approach shows high level of effectiveness.
