The implementation of the curriculum in RBT subjects is not broken down into core sections and selected sections consisting of four different areas as implemented in previous KHB subjects. In fact, the implementation of the RBT subject curriculum requires students to study all the fields offered. There are several problems and challenges faced in the implementation of the new curriculum RBT such as teachers who are not creative in the delivery of teaching and learning process, teachers who do not have enough knowledge and skills and the problem of lack of tools and facilities. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the problems, shortcomings and effectiveness of the unit to students by using the CIPP assessment model that only focuses on the field of agriculture for the present and the future. This study involved interviews with three high school teachers who have professional qualifications in agriculture and also teach RBT subjects in Johor Bahru district, Johor. The research instrument used is qualitative in nature using a semi-structured interview protocol. The approach used in data analysis is to use thematic analysis methods to answer the research questions that have been constructed. The results of this study have found that the content of this agricultural unit is considered very suitable to be studied by students who will sit for Pentaksiran Tingkatan 3 (PT3).
