Summary:Shariah compliant stocks is one of the asset types of Islamic equity market offered by Bursa Malaysia. This research paper examines the factors that influence the investment decision among retail investors in investing for shariah compliant stocks in Bursa Malaysia by measuring the investment knowledge, perceived behavioural control, subjective norm and attitude. The study employed a quantitative type of research using questionnaires and the sample comprised of 152 retail investors in Klang Valley through online surveys. The theoretical framework was developed based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) in this research. The findings from this research would provide an understanding of the variety of decisions to be made by retail investors based on the current factors and the outcomes results for every decision have been made and identified the most influencing factor on the company's has been choosen by retail investors, company’s future policies and strategies also will be affected since investment decisions by retail investors will determine the companies strategy to be applied.
