Description
Summary:Objective of this study is to determine relationship between the training, leadership and compensation and job performance of police officers in Sungai Buloh Police District. The aim of selecting police officers job performance as the research scope is because at present there are limited numbers of researches produced to show how training, leadership and compensation can impact police officers job performance. Thus, job performance of police officers in Malaysia is focused on negative aspects such as corruption and abuse of power. The factors of training, leadership and compensation is not widely applied to police officers’ job performance. Identifying the impact these variables can make in police officers’ job performance might help in creating better job scope for the police officers which eventually will heighten their job performance. Quantitative research method was employed to identify the relationship between training, leadership and compensation towards job performance. Through this method, 200 police officers were surveyed to learn their perception about the research variables. Correlation analysis in SPSS version 20 showed each of the independent variables had a positive relationship between the police officers’ job performance. These findings were confirmed through the linear regression analysis. An equation to relate changes in job performance according to the changes in the training, leadership and compensation is presented by using SPSS version 20.
