Summary:Management of change is an important concept in managing contemporary organizations. An effective organization is, among other things, characterized by its ability to evolve with time. The purpose of this research was to study the examiner’s perception towards the success of Patent And Trademark Automated System (PANTAS) at the Intellectual Property Department in the aspect of management of change. This research has six objectives. The objectives are to conduct a research on the followings; (a) the relationships between management of change with the perception towards the success of PANTAS, (b) the relationships between examiner’s attitude with the perception towards the success of PANTAS, (c) the relationships between examiner’s skill with the perception towards the success of PANTAS, (d) the level of communication between top management and examiners towards the success of PANTAS, (e) the difference of perception towards the success of PANTAS base on demography factor and (f) examiners perception towards the success of PANTAS. Questionnaires consist of 45 questions were used as the research instrument. Population respondents for this research are 70 examiners from Grade 3 to Grade 5. The data collected were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 11.0 software program. Statistical analysis techniques such as Pearson Correlation Test, T-Test and ANOVA were used to test 9 hypotheses. The findings revealed that there is a significant relationship between the management of change, attitude and communication with perception towards the success of PANTAS. However there was no significant relationship with regards to the skills with the perception towards the success of PANTAS. There was also no significant difference towards the perception of the success of PANTAS based on gender, age, grade and education. There was however a significant difference based on the duration of service.
