During the internship program, students are exposed to the practices of the organization, and from there, students learn how to adapt themselves to the real working environment. Students who undergo internship program must prepare a final year project or their report for practical training, as one of the graduation requirements. Every student were supervised by the assigned supervisors. Hence, students are required to communicate with their supervisors in order to get assistance in completing their final year project or report for practical training. At the same time, students also share related information with other internship students who enrolled in the same program for the same batch. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate factors influencing intention to knowledge sharing among internship students. This study also further examines student interaction as the mediator to share the knowledge. The research framework in this study consists of intention to knowledge sharing as the dependent variable and three individual characteristics were chosen as the independent variables namely, absorptive capacity, motivation, and attitude. In addition, student interaction is included as the mediator to support the framework. This study has been conducted using quantitative method and data being analyzed using SPSS version 26. As a result, a survey of 241 undergraduate internship students from School of Business Management (SBM), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) revealed that all three independent variables are significant towards intention to knowledge sharing. Moreover, student interaction also mediates the relationship between the three independent variables to the intention to knowledge sharing. Later, few implications and recommendations are suggested in this study. 2022 Thesis https://etd.uum.edu.my/10516/ https://etd.uum.edu.my/10516/1/grant%20the%20permission_s827171.pdf text eng staffonly https://etd.uum.edu.my/10516/2/s827171_01.pdf text eng public other masters Universiti Utara Malaysia
