Despite all, it was highlighted that in Simad University lack of proper planning and developing, reward system, lack of managing and reviewing, are the main aspects that hinder the level of the employee’s performance of the Simad University. Therefore, the objective of this study is to examine the relationship between performance management systems on employee performance of the Simad University in Mogadishu Somalia. The respondents of this study were senior and management staff of Simad University in Mogadishu Somalia. A total of 317 questionnaires were distributed to employees of this Simad University by using an online survey, only 200 were useable for further analysis after data screening. The data was analyzed using SPSS Version 26 and PLS-SEM to achieve the stated objectives of the study. The finding of this study has revealed that planning and developing, Reward system, and managing and reviewing have a positive and significant related to employee performance. Furthermore, the research framework of this study will contribute to the literature in the context of employee performance not only in the Simad University, but also in other sector of economy. It will also help Simad University management to have a further understanding of the correlation of planning and developing, reward system, and managing and reviewing have a positive and significant related to employee performance.
