This research used a quantitative technique to investigate the impact of four specific stressors, namely work-family conflict, role conflict, working environment, and management style, on the job performance of CID officers. A simple random selection method was used to choose a sample of 100 police officers from the research population. The data collected was analysed using SPSS version 27. The results revealed that there is a negative correlation between workfamily conflict and role conflict with job performance. This underscores the detrimental effects that officers face when attempting to manage the demands of both work and family responsibilities and conflicting job expectations. On the other hand, a positive correlation is observed between job performance, management style, and the working environment. This finding underscores the criticality of a favorable work environment and efficient management practices in enhancing the performance of officers within the CID.
