Descriptive statistics tests, frequency distribution, and a multiple linear regression model were used to analyze the data collected on SPSS. The study findings revealed that certain variables, including the efficiency of the zakat structure system, reputation of zakat agencies, due process, and location of zakat offices, significantly impact zakat's ability to reduce poverty in Somalia. The study also indicated that inefficiencies in the distribution system hinder the effectiveness of zakat in poverty reduction. As a result, this study provides important implications for policymakers and practitioners in the field of poverty alleviation in Somalia, highlighting the need for a more efficient zakat distribution system and the establishment of zakat offices in villages to increase accessibility. The study recommends that policymakers and practitioners pay closer attention to factors that impact the effectiveness of zakat, such as due process and unbiased distribution, to increase the reputation of zakat agencies.
