On top of that, descriptive analysis, and correlation analysis, together with Generalised Least Square (GLS) method using Random Effect are used in analysing the impact of capital structure on Malaysian public-listed FinTech companies. The output of panel regression analysis Models resulted in a significant positive relationship between the size of the companies and their performances for both ROA and ROE examined. However, a significant negative relationship was highlighted between the short-term debt and total debt of the FinTech companies against the profitability measured. It is notable that only ROE reported a significant negative result against the total debt of the companies whereas ROA highlighted the absence of a significant relationship accordingly.
