Summary: | This study examines the level of knowledge among principals in all secondary schools in Kuala Lumpur, and to determine the attitude of the principal towards finance and accounting. This study also to determine whether there are significant difference in the level of knowledge base on lenght of service as a teacher and whether there are significant difference in the level of attitude base on gender, age and academic qualification. The study used a population and the respondences were principals of all secondary schools in Kuala Lumpur and only 55 principals were involved. The descriptive statistical analysis and the inference analysis like t-test, one-way ANOVA an Pearson correlation were used to analyze the responses. Overall, the findings shows that the principals have an average level of finance knowledge and have a positive attitude towards financial management. The finding of this study shows that there is a significant correlation between attitude of the pricipals and the level of knowledge. The finding also shows that there is no significant correlation between participation in finance course. There is also no significant difference on the attitude towards financial and accounting management on gender and age but on the other hand there is a negative significant difference on the attitute towards academic qualifications. |
