Correlation and regression test as well as difference test will be implemented based on information derived from data gathered through questionnaire forms which circulated and as much as 215 forms was returned. Accumulated data were analyzed by using Statistical Package software for Social Science (SPSS)
version 15.0. ANOVA test perpetrated upon demographic factors namely sex, age, long in service, academic and long level in present post to see the difference. Result from the test show that only age give different effects on variable while those other had no significant difference. Results from analysis test show that there are significant correlation between independent variable with the dependent variable. Learning motivation has great value weight namely beta value .440 compared to proactive personality only has value of .148 and shown not significant on the career
development factor. Result of the multiple regression test show that both of independent variable is significant with F-value as much as 49.57 and as much as 31.2% variation measured as value influence. It proven that proactive personality and learning motivation are able to influence the career development in military organization as well as replying the objectives and the issues of this study. However Armed Forces must have more laborious planning to wide the scope of learning motivation among officers for the success in their career. |
