Summary:This study is to identify the sustainability of the integration system of cattle - crop plantation . To identify the level of sustainability that will be evaluate sustainability of the three aspects of ecological, economic and social. In which the components are made up of components of sustainability development (SD) and sustainable agriculture (SA). Specific objectives of this study were 1) to identify issues and problems occur around the farmer in SILTU 2) to look at the interaction between SD components using Amoeba graph 3) investigate and recommend the farmers characteristic toward sustainability 4) to identify sustainability of SILTU from system and farmers perspective. Three places were selected for the research which were FELDA Palong (Negeri Sembilan), Felda Chini (Pahang) and Felda Bukit Tangga and Batu Lapan (Negeri Kedah). Question and answer session was conducted in the area for all the farmers involved. In addition, field data will be collected at each study area. For this study, the results of descriptive analysis showed that the situation SILTU is convinced and tells the real situation there. The analysis also shows that social problems are the main problems faced at all places of the study. Meanwhile, for the analysis of field data shows that the only area of Negeri Kedah who have problems and unsustainable due to several factors. While the graph shows positive results for the performance of sustainability SILTU in Malaysia. In conclusion, the overall SILTU is sustainable and the major problems facing is the social problems that need more attention. Meanwhile, Kedah SILTU areas should be given more attention because of its sustainability shows the negative direction than in other studies. Finally, the results of this study suggest that more studies be carried out in SILTU especially the case study as the solution to the social cases and methods of holistic or systems approach should be adopted to solve complex problems and multi-disciplines such as social problems within smallholder farmers in SILTU.
