Summary:Safety Behavior is one element that being used to determine the safety performance and this study are to determine the influence of four facets of safety behavior towards the compliance with safety peformance among employees in Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM) hospital. The study was conducted due to the lack of studies on safety being carried out in hospital side which is always consider to be safe at all time. Therefore, this study also investigate how safety perception measurement contributes to safety behavior among the staff in the government hospital. A total of two hundred fifty one questionnaire had been distribute to the sample chosen on the study consisting of five independent variable of Safety Performance which are (a.)organizational context, (b.) social environment, (c.) individual appreciation, (d.)work environment. This independent variable later will be measured on the perception of workplace safety towards the compliance of safety behavior as the determinant (dependent variable). Finally, the finding of the study presented that organizational context, social environment, individual appreciation, work environment, are significantly related to compliance of safety performance in Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya.
