description Communication apprehension (CA) is one of the most aspect of study in communication education. The PRCA-24 had prove to be a reliable instrument in measuring the level of CA. The purpose of this study is to determined there is differences between gender and levels of CA, and there is differences between gender and CA in four contexts of communication, group, meeting, interpersonal and public speaking. The samples of the study were 169 undergraduate students from Universiti Malaysia Perlis. Out of this, 76 were male students and 93 were female students. The undergraduate students were asked to fill the Personal Report of Communication Apprehension-24 (PRCA-24) which measures the overall CA in group, meeting, interpersonal and public speaking. Results of the study showed that there was no differences between gender and CA but there were have differences between gender and CA in four contexts of communication. The overall result showed that female are more apprehensive than female in interpersonal contexts and group then male. Recommendations for future research was also discussed.
