The population for this research were employees at Majlis Perbandaran Kangar,(MPK). The data was collected using the questionaire. A total of 155 employees were chosen by Dispropotionate Stratified Random Sampling Design and participated in the study. The collected data was analyzed by using Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression test to study the relationship and influence on job satisfaction and turnover intentions. The findings of the study showed that there was a significant negative relationship between job stress and job satisfaction, while there was a significant positive relationship between Islamic Work Ethics and Job Satisfaction. Meanwhile, there was significant relationship between job stress and job satisfaction with turnover intentions. In the other hand, there were no significant relationship between Islamic Work Ethic and Turnover Intentions. Multiple regression analysis indicate that Job Stress, Islamic Work Ethic and Job Satisfaction explained 11.3 percent of the variance in Turnover Intentions. The findings of this research will be useful for management to provide a training and activities and improve an Islamic programme that will increase the understanding towards Islamic Work Ethics. It is because it will give impact toward employees job satisfaction. This study also provides several suggestions and recommendations for future research.
