Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Sikap Guru Terhadap Penggunaan Komputer
description The purpose of this reseach was to investigate the factors that influenced teachers' confidence attitude towards computer usage in teachers profession. Dependent variables involved were teachers' confidence attitude towards computer usage whereas independent variables were age, gender, training, administrators encouragement and computer facilities. The research was conducted with a sample of teachers teaching Form One to Form Three in 6 secondary schools in Baling District of Kedah. Two hundred respondents or 45.25% from 442 population involved in this research. The primary data were collected through the use of questionnaires and were analysed using descriptive statistics and inference statistics methods. The Finding of this research showed that training factor, computer facilities and administrator encouragement did have significant relationship with teachers' confidence attitude towards computer usage. These findings are important especially to school administrators and generally to other stakeholders; such as Parents and Teachers Association, District Education Ofice, State Education Department and Ministry of Education in planning human resource development especially training, and school infrastructure development including computer facilities in school.
