Summary:The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between Total Quality Management and job satisfaction among teachers. This study adopted the School Management Quality by Burnham to study the implementation of Total Quality Management and Maslow Need Theory to study job satisfaction. With close to the afore mentioned theory, the implementation of the Total Quality Management in school was investigated in terms of principal, humanistic relationship, process and prevention. Job satisfaction refer to physiological need, security need, social need, self-esteem and self-actualization need. This research involved 136 respondents among teachers from two secondary smart school in state of Perlis. Questionaires containing 20 question on implementation of Total Quality Management and 25 question on job satisfaction were distributed. The data obtained was analysed using the descriptive statistical method to determined the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The inference statistical method with includes t-test, one way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation also been used to analyse the data. The finding show that the most dominant factor in determining the implementation of the Total Quality Management is prevention. The results on job satisfaction reveal that the satisfaction on self-esteem need is higher while the other needs in Maslow Theory are moderate. Finally, the research also suggests that there is a colleration between the implementation of Total Quality Management and job satisfaction among teachers.
