Summary:The study intended to examine the perception of teachers towards the leadership style of headmasters' of Grade A primary schools in the district of Kubang Pasu, Kedah. A total of 388 respondents were randomly selected from 9 grade A primary school teachers in the district to participate in the study. A set of questionaire with five Likert scale was distributed in collecting the data which was then analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Science(SPSS) method. The Questionaire was adapted from 'Leader Behaviour Description Questionaire' (LBDQ). All the data collected was analyzed at p = 0.05 using T-test, Anova and Pearson Correlation. The result indicated that most of the primary school teachers had perceived the leadership style of the headmasters was more on the consideration approach than the structural approach. As a whole, the findings showed there were the significant difference in the perception towards the leadersip style of the headmasters in both aspects, consideration approach and the structural approach based on gender, age, marital status and experience.
