This study aims to examine the factors that influence the safety culture among employees
of the Company Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), The Distribution Division Ipoh, Perak. There are three dimensions of the independent variable namely employee involvement, the role of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee (JKKPP) and safety training. A total of 169 sets of questionnaires were distributed to the employees of TNB Distribution Division in Ipoh, Perak and only 155 questionnaires were returned and analyzed. Data were analyzed using the "Statistical Package for Social Science" (SPSS)
version 20.0. The findings show that these three factors as employee involvement, the role
of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee (JKKPP) and safety training has a positive significant relationship to the safety culture. While the regression analysis showed that all three of these factors significantly affects the safety culture among employees in TNB Distribution Division Ipoh, Perak. |
