Summary:The main purpose of this research is to study the job satisfaction among teachers and its relationship with the level of commitment to the school in two Smart School located in Perlis. This research adopted Maslow's Hierachy of Needs Theory to study the job satisfaction, and Model of Expectation by Steers to study the commitment among the teachers involved to their school. From the theories, this research of job satisfaction commenced in the base of physiological needs, security needs, social needs, self-esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. This research also study the correlation between job satisfaction and commitment to the school. There are 124 respondends involved in answering the questionaire contains three parts of analysis. The first part consists of question regarding demographic factors, the second part is regarding the question about job satisfaction, and the third part is consists of question about commitment to the school. Datas are derived from the questionaire, and then was analyze through quantitative methods to determine the frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Analyze also includes t - test, one way ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation. As a result, the study shows that there is no significant value in job satisfaction demographic factors with the five elements of needs in Maslow Hierarchy of Needs. The study also reveals that there is a correlation between job satisfaction and the level of commintments to the school
