description The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between the principal's instructional leadership and the teachers' sense od efficacy. The samples comprised of 155 teachers; 67 male and 88 female, from three secondary school within Saratok District in Sarawak. These data were converted into the Principal Instructional Management Rating Scale and Teacher's Sense of Efficacy Scale. The data were analyzed using the Statiscal Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 15. Descriptive Analysis (mean, frequency and percentage) and Inferential Analysis (t-Test and Pearson Correlation) were used to describe the teachers' view. Results of this study revealed that the capability of the principals were at the medium range meanwhile the efficacy of the teachers were at the high level. Thus, teachers' perception towards the instructional leadership based on sexuality was not significantly different and there were differences in teachers' sense of efficacy. Furthermore, there was a positive relationship between the two cases mentioned above. From the result of this research, it was suggested that the education authorities might have to organize some courses on the instructional leadership to the principals to expose them on the importance of teaching observation and supporting teacher in the teaching and learning process, provide teachers with instructional practice, student involvement and classroom management, encourage the principals to practice the higher level of instructional leadership and to identify its dimension whether it was in the low or medium level of practicing
