Summary:The aim of this research was to examine the differences and relationship between demographic factors, Departmental factors, Individual factors and organizational performance. The researcher has applied a research model (Performance Management Model) adapted from Mwita (2000). The research was conducted at Majlis Perbandaran Kota Setar (MPKS), Kedah. The subjects of the research comprised of 150 employees from various ranks ranging from Professional Management Group to the Supported Group working on location. The questionnaire consisted three sections: demographic and background details, Departmental factors and Individual factors. Data were analyzed using correlation Pearson (r), One Way ANOVA and T-Test. The result indicated that organizational performance did not have any significant dflerences based on age, sex and post for the MPKS employee. On the other hand, the result showed that there was a relationship between organizational performance with Departmental factors such as organizational culture, human capital and capacity, leadership and red tape. This research also showed that Individual factors such as task structure, task motivation and individual performance had a significant correlation with organizational performance. The research has constructed a new model to examine organizational performance.
