Summary: | The objectives of the study are to identify the current practice of mosque management and its correlations with prosperity; to identify the type of programs and activities
being organized; and to identify the selection methods of mosque management committee in order to encourage people participation in mosque's activities. Also, the research will attempt to identify, among these factors, which factor has the greatest influence to prosperity. For sampling purpose, the study was carried out at 555
mosques from 16 districts in Perak. The units of analysis are organization consist of Imam, Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer of respective mosques. This study uses descriptive statistics in order to describe the frequency of respondent's demographic characteristics and to analyze Part A's type of activities being organized. Meanwhile,
inferential statistics such as Pearson Correlation was used in order to measure the correlation among variables, and linear regression was used to determine the variable
that significantly affects the prosperity factor. From the findings, management practices and mosque's activities are positively correlate with prosperity whereas the mosque's selection method of management committee is negatively correlates with prosperity. Among the variables that positively and highly correlate with mosque prosperity is management practice. Thus, from the findings, it can be concluded that management practices and mosque's activities significantly affect the prosperity of a
