Summary:This study was carried out to obtain information on the implementation of technology strategy in small and medium enterprises. This research also examined the differences of implementation of technology strategy in differences sector. The scope of study focuses the company in small and medium enterprises at Seberang Perai, Pulau Pinang. Questionnaires were distributed to respondents and data were obtained from 100 sets of questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS/PC Windows 10.0 software. Pearson correlation, resgression and one-way anova test were used to determine the influence and effect of implementation between independences and dependent variables. It was found that company in SMEs, practice the technology strategy in implement the technology. Pearson correlation results revealed that there is an association between technology management and technology acquisitions with company competitiveness. Pearson correlation also revealed that there is no association between innovation technologies with competitiveness. With regard to the regression analysis, it was that only 42.4% the changes in the competitiveness was effected by the practice of technology strategy in company. It is also found that company competitiveness is affected by the implementation of technology management and technology acquisition. Finally, analysis one-way anova indicates that the different sectors practised different of technology management, technology acquisition and innovation technology, and different affected to company competitiveness.
