Chapter 1 explains the problems, the objectives, the scope and the project significance.
Chapter 2 states the methodology used in the system development. Chapter 3 analyses UUM’s health system currently being implemented including the relevant application systems. The current issues and challenges are also discussed. Chapter 4 discusses the current trends of the health information system, decision support system, knowledge database system, telemedicine and the integration with medical equipment system as well
as the implementation of health information system computerization in Malaysia. Chapter 5 analyses the proposed system based on user requirements and current trends of the health information system. Chapter 6 explains the system design for dialogue design, interfaces, database, reports and infostructure. Chapter 7 report on the achievements of the project objectives, limitations of the proposed system, proposed system upgrade and conclusion.
