Hundred teachers have given their response to these questionnaires (survey)- one method in gathering information. All the information gathered has been analyzed using SPSS-PC4 package. Most of the teachers were given five different tasks like form teachers, specific duties and duties in co-curriculum. Beside that comparison between gender and the school grade in terms of hours used to complete the tasks that were given were also known. Female teachers used more time; 64.58 hour per week to do the academic and non-academic tasks meanwhile male teachers used only 63.35 hour per week to do the same tasks. In term of the school grade, it shows that teachers in school grade A used 64.88 hour per week to do academic and non-academic tasks but teachers in school grade B used only 62.34 hour per week. In conclusion, the teachers’ perception towards the tasks that were given was a burden to them. Based on the survey that had been performed, the writer suggests that this survey should be continued on to find whether the amount of tasks given to the teachers will effect their performance in teachings or not. This survey must be done in the secondary school today.
