description The purpose of this study is to compare tourist motivation between public workers that been represented by teachers and private workers that been represented by factory workers. To obtain primer data, questionnaires have been used and been posted along with own address envelope. All data obtained were analyzed by using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The result from the study showed that the most dominant motivation factor among respondent was aesthetic factor. The result from the descriptive statistic analysis showed that all of the motivation among the respondent were different. The result from the study that used inferential statistic analysis showed that only one motivation did not show mean differences between the respondent. That motivation was belonging factor. Others motivation such as physical factor, safety factor, esteem factor, self actualization factor, to know and understand factor, and aesthetics factor showed that there were mean differences among respondent. This study cannot be generalized but can be used as a base for further studies in this aspect.
