总结:Integrative Curriculum Approach (KI) embedded with Islamic values is implemented in Aceh to support the execution of the Indonesian national curriculum that integrates behavior, knowledge and skills. Teaching and learning of environmental studies (IPA) biology is based on KI which is integrated with Islamic values is expected to develop good characteristics in students.This study aims to examine the implementation of KI with applied Islamic values in teaching and learning of IPA Biology in secondary schools in Aceh. Specifically, this study aims to identify the level of attainment in Biology, activity characteristics and student interaction patterns after using KI. This study involves five specialists in education, a secondary school principal, five teachers and 60 students from secondary schools implementing KI with the application of Islamic values. The instrument used is a semi-structured interview with the specialist, principal and teachers. A questionnaire on attitudes, IPA Biology test, list of activity observations and student interaction are also used for data collection. The findings revealed that it was not fully implemented because they still needed guidelines from ruler of Aceh. Its implementation gained full support from the school principal, teachers and students' positive attitude. Student achievement level in IPA Biology is found increasing after using KI embedded with Islamic values through activities like observing, questioning, gathering of information, analyzing and presenting. Interaction patterns that occurred were teachers-students, students- teachers and students-students. Types of interaction shown were questioning, answering, explaining and responding to the topic of learning. The implication is that it supports the implementation of the national curriculum. Therefore, all relevant parties in Indonesia and Aceh need to complete necessary requirement in the implementation of KI with Islamic values for the purpose of a comprehensive implementation in the province of Aceh.
