Summary:Conflict phenomenon exist inevitably as individuals interact and communicate with each other. Interpersonal conflict among teachers is often connected with demographic characteristics, cultural dimension and personality. Hence, a study was done to highlight the relationship of conflict handling mode with demographic characteristics, cultural dimension and personality, This quantitative research was done in twenty Secondary School in Kota Setar district, Kedah Darul Aman. There were 290 teachers chosen as respondents based on Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling Method. The technique which is used to collect the data is by questionnaire which is personally administered. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used for analyzing. Hypotheses testing was done using t-test, one way ANOVA and Spearman correlation analysis. The finding of the study showed that there was a significant difference in the choice conflict handling mode between male and female teachers. On the other hand, the result of the study showed that there was no significant difference towards conflict handling mode for other demographic characteristics. The research also revealed that there was a significant relationship between the cultural dimension based on individualism index, masculinity and power distance with conflict handling mode. Further finding showed that there was a significant relationship between the personality based on orientation dimension (extrovert-introvert) and decision making dimension (thinking-feeling) with conflict handling mode.
